Sadly most of Appliances #7 went undocumented on camera (too busy wigging out to take photos…) but it was a plentiful feast for the ears involving various combinations of our guests Andreas Willers (guitar) and Rudi Fischerlehner (drums) with Maurizio Ravalico (congas), Lothar Ohlmeier (bass clarinet) and Isambard Khroustaliov (electronics). Next up – Appliances #8 @ Cafe OTO on the 21st November 2008 – hope to see you there…
The brainchild of Lucy Railton, this will be the second installment of the monthly Kammer Klang residency at Charlie Wright’s International Bar, dedicated to disintegrating the ever blurring boundaries at the edge of contemporary classical music in collaboration with electronic musicians and improvisors.
